The Yamazaki 18 Year is one of the icon’s of Japanese whiskey. This single malt is made at the Yamazaki Distillery in Osaka, the nation’s first.
Prices for Yamazaki have been rising for years. Speculation that Yamazaki 18 will be discontinued has further increased demand and prices.
It can still be found at reasonable prices, however. Big retailers like Bevmo, Total Wine, Binny’s, and Costco are solid options. Online retailers like The Whiskey Dealer, Drizly, and Saucey also can have good deals.
If you look for Yamazaki 18 in Japan, you’ll still have to put in some effort. Prices aren’t much better there, but you can probably save 25% or more.
