Only 200 bottes were released of this 2014 limited edition Hibiki. This one was found at the Yamazaki Whisky Museum in Osaka, Japan.
It’s bottled at 43% abv. Hibiki 21 is a blend of Chita grain whisky and malt whiskies from Hakushu and Yamazaki. It is incredibly smooth and has won a lot of international whisky awards.

Hi! in 2015 my boyfriend bought this limited edition in Japan and gave it to me. I have it until today and it is sealed. could you tell me how to sell and what is the estimated value?
Hi Nathália,
That’s a very nice gift from your boyfriend! Selling whisky can be tricky if you don’t know a collector. The Whisky Exchange has a reputable program for buying rare whisky. There are some alternative companies in the US, but I don’t have much experience with them to make an endorsement.
Retail prices for Hibiki 21 Year Mount Fuji Edition vary between around $1400-$2000 US. My guess is that a company like The Whisky Exchange will offer you about 60-70% of that value, depending on the condition of your bottle and provenance.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for your comment!

I want to buy your whisky hibiki 21
Hi Nathalia,
Unfortunately, this whisky isn’t for sale. And I’ve seen some crazy prices for it on major websites. But wine-searcher Wine-Searcher is a good source to check. Currently (10/2021), there are two listings in the US under $2000 pre-tax. Is it worth the extra cost vs the normal Hibiki 21 Year? Only if you’re a collector.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Brad
