Nikka Whisky “From the Barrel” is a malt and grain blend from Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Both distilleries produce pot distilled whisky, and Miyagikyo also makes coffee still grain whisky for the blend. Additionally, a huge variety of casks are used to age this whisky. From the Barrel is bottled at stout 51.4% abv.
Overall, Nikka From the Barrel is one of Japan’s great blended whiskies.
